Who can use ClicPay (individual/business)?
Anyone can use it: individual entrepreneurs or registered companies. The activation process changes depending on the user type.
Which documents do I need to activate (KYC)?
• Individuals: valid ID card or Passport, active phone number.
• Businesses: NUIT, business license / commercial certificate, legal representative document.
This information helps ensure security and compliance (KYC/AML).
Do I need a bank account?
No. You can receive payments with mobile wallets (M-Pesa, E-Mola, M-Kesh) and withdraw funds through those same channels.
Additional information may be required for cards or bank transfers.
Which payment methods do you accept?
• Mobile wallets: M-Pesa, E-Mola, M-Kesh.
• Cards: Visa, Mastercard.
• Other methods: PayPal (integration in progress).
Which currencies can I charge in?
Currently: Metical (MT). Other currencies may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
How are withdrawals made?
For Pro plan users, withdrawals are made via withdrawal requests that take 24 to 48 hours.
For ClicCorporate plan users, withdrawals to mobile wallets are instant.
Can I integrate with my current website?
Yes. We offer an API, webhooks, and a ready-made checkout. We also provide plugins for common e-commerce platforms.
Do you offer a ready-made checkout / payment links?
Yes. You can create a payment link or use the hosted ClicPay checkout without needing to code anything.
Is ClicPay secure?
Yes. We use encryption, security tokens, anti-fraud controls, and comply with KYC/AML requirements. Card payments follow PCI DSS standards.
